:  a test to determine the presence of protein in the cerebrospinal fluid in which a drop of cerebrospinal fluid is added to a special reagent and the formation of a cloudy precipitate indicates a positive test

Biographical Note for PANDY'S TEST

Pán·dy \ˈpän-dē\ Kálmán (1868–1945), Hungarian neurologist. Pándy introduced his test for protein in cerebrospinal fluid in 1910.
